The Challenge
Beachly needed ongoing support for their ecommerce platform, which is hosted on Shopify Plus. Their requirements included addressing bugs, performing theme updates, adding new pages, and supporting integration needs—all while ensuring the website remained user-friendly and visually appealing.

What We Did
Our scope of work for Beachly included the following key services:
Monthly Web Development Support
We provided ongoing monthly support to Beachly, working within a retainer-based support package. The support hours were used to address various aspects of the website, such as fixing bugs, updating the theme, creating new pages, and adding new product listings. We also provided user interface (UI) updates to enhance the overall user experience. The support agreement included up to 20-30 billable hours per month, ensuring flexibility in managing Beachly’s web development needs.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
To enhance user experience and improve conversions, we conducted an analysis of Beachly’s website to identify weak points in the user journey. We used heatmapping tools to observe visitor behavior over several weeks, providing valuable insights into areas that could benefit from improvements. Our team implemented CRO suggestions, such as making changes to key landing pages, optimizing the checkout flow, and enhancing navigation to improve visitor retention.
Custom Functionality and Integration Support
We provided support for various integrations on the Beachly site, including integration with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other third-party apps that were essential to the ecommerce operation. Additionally, we handled private application support, integration support for third-party apps, and custom functionality requests to ensure that Beachly’s Shopify Plus platform remained versatile and met their evolving business needs.
New Page Design and Development
Our team designed and developed new pages for Beachly, including product listings, collections pages, and promotional landing pages. We ensured that all new pages were consistent with the brand’s visual identity and provided a seamless experience for users. Graphic and banner creation was also part of the scope, allowing Beachly to showcase seasonal promotions and featured products.
Theme Updates and Platform Support
We handled platform update support, including theme editor improvements, ensuring the website was always updated with the latest features and security enhancements. We provided assistance for app installations and any theme modifications required to support Beachly’s marketing campaigns or product launches.
